They say love is a two-way street. Each partner in the relationship supports and relies on the other as both make their way through life. That kind of love is perfectly illustrated in the growing relationship between the state of Missouri and American Foods Group (AFG).
When the time came to open a new, state-of-the-art meat processing facility, AFG chose Warren County, Missouri as the location. The family-owned business is investing $800 million in the new facility, which will bring more than 1,300 jobs to the region. Missouri will provide the space, talent and resources AFG needs to launch the new 775,000 sq. ft. facility.
AFG found so much value in Missouri that it is putting up money to invest in the future. The company recently pledged $2 million to the local school district to help build the new high school football stadium.
